Head of Sales China
Location:Shanghai
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the overall sales of the Group in China and will play a key role in the further development and expansion of the sales company
• Report to the management at the parent company and reports in disciplinary terms to the Sales based at the German headquarter
• Act as a close inter-face with the specialist departments of the parent company.
Results-oriented management of the sales organization
• Responsibility for the strategic direction of the company and its business success in China
• Actively driving forward further expansion on the Chinese market, in particular taking into account modern, digital sales methods
• Developing and implementing a marketing and sales strategy geared towards local market requirements
• Responsibility for achieving the sales and income targets set for the Chinese market
• Ensuring the best possible promotion of the Group's entire product portfolio in China
• Targeted expansion of the customer base and development of close contacts with important decision-makers, including personal support for selected key accounts
• Influencing a market-oriented product range and pricing to ensure competitiveness
Planning and implementing the market launch of new products
• Carrying out market analyses and ensuring close internal communication within the company in order to be able to react quickly to new market requirements
• Recruiting and training new employees and continuously developing the existing workforce
Qualifications:
• At least ten years of professional experience and at least five years of management experience in comparable sales structures, ideally acquired in a medium-sized, European-managed company.
• Sound expertise in the development and re-structuring of sales organizations is a prerequisite
• Strong knowledge of (specialist) trade and experience in direct sales (B2B) are essential.
• An existing network of relevant decision-makers in the Chinese market completes the picture of the ideal candidate.
