Key Account Manager, China

 

Location: Suzhou


Responsibilities:

• Executing the sales plan for the assigned key accounts

• Provide technical expertise and support to customers to ensure their needs are met and to facilitate the sales process

• Collaborate with application engineering team to understand and address customer requirements

• Engage in sales activities, including prospecting, presenting, and closing sales deals

• Participate in commercial negotiations with key accounts as required

• Other duties as required, under the guidance of senior management



Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field

• At least 5 years sales experience in applications with turbomachinery industry (steam turbines, gas turbines, centrifugal and axial compressors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, generators etc.); experience in fluid film sliding bearing applications is preferred

• Proven sales experience in industrial bearings or a related technical product

• Understanding of hydrodynamic bearings for industrial applications (desirable) or a willingness to acquire it

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships

• Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to a collaborative environment

• Willingness to travel within China as required

• Proactive and results-oriented

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Strong sense of competitive spirit

• Empathetic and a team player
