Key Account Manager, Automotive

 

Location: Europe


Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing and growing our key accounts within the European automotive industry. 

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for the European automotive market.

• Manage and expand existing accounts, identifying opportunities for growth and upselling.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including OEMs, suppliers, and dealers.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and deliver on project milestones.

• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends.

• Prepare and present sales proposals, forecasts, and reports to senior management.

• Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client retention and loyalty. 



Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Business Administration or a related field

• Experience in the automotive industry

• Several years of sales experience with automotive clients, major accounts, and OEMs

• Technical expertise in sealing solutions

• Knowledge of automotive technologies and products, e.g. materials, specifically rubber, LSR, and plastics 

• Strong understanding of the European automotive market and its dynamics

• A proven ability to exceed sales targets and manage a diverse portfolio of accounts

• Proficient in Microsoft Office software

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Hunter mentality, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required

• Working independently and demonstratively

• Self-disciplined and self-motivated

• Hard-working and detail-oriented
